Local organisation Foodskil introduced Corio Bay Food Swaps and there are now 10 swaps held across the region organised by various groups. More are starting all the time, so check the What's On section of your local paper for your nearest swap.
How do they work? They operate on an honour system, so there's no need to haggle. Most Food Swaps are free to attend.
What to bring? Your home grown fruit, vegetables, herbs, seeds, plants, eggs, homemade preserves, cheese, sour dough, seedlings etc.
Nothing to swap? Excess produce is usually offered for sale after 10.00 am.
